Admission Requirements
It is required to first obtain a commitment from a professor to supervise your research to apply for a graduate program in Unversité Laval. Furthermore, the admission requirements of the respective study program should be fulfilled, and the minimum degree required for the level of study should be provided.
International Applicants: The immigration procedures can take up to half a year or even more, and it is strongly suggested that you start the procedure as early as 6 to 9 months before your expected arrival date.

Scholarships and Financial Aid
Financial aid is available for the graduate programs, including admission scholarships, in-study scholarships, on-campus jobs, student loans, and bursaries. For more details visit Graduate studies. In addition, Université Laval allows all students enrolled in a Ph.D. program to be exempt from supplemental tuition, reducing the cost of education by $35,000. The faculty and department also offer merit-based graduate awards to graduate students in good standing.
